This week at the UN Water Conference and New York Water Week, the National Geographic Society is launching the World Water Map, in collaboration with Utrecht University and Esri, as part of the five-year World Freshwater Initiative. The Society is also hosting a screening of Nkashi: Race for the Okavango, which recently premiered in Botswana and explores freshwater issues and stories of resilience in the Okavango Delta.
